Richard
Angelou was appointed to the Mifflin Township Board of Trustees in 1994. Subsequently,
he was elected to that office in 1996, 2000, and 2004. He oversees the Service
Department, which includes the cemeteries and the roads.
Mr. Angelou has been employed by the Whitehall City Schools as a suspension
administrator since 1999. In 1994, he retired from the Whitehall Schools after
teaching since 1966. He was also the City of Gahanna’s first Parks and
Recreation Director from 1967 to 1971.
He is married to his wife, Karen, for 37 years, and they have one son, Mark.
